If you’re feeling like your home styling and furniture is a bit stale and in need of an update that is designer-curated - but you don’t necessarily want a full interior designer service, then KIT is for you.

We’ve developed KIT by kin.field to be a really simple way to get a smokin’ room, with furniture and decor items at trade prices that are selected by interiors experts. We have handpicked quality yet affordable furniture and artwork for your bedrooms, nursery and living rooms.

So how does KIT work?

  1. Select the KIT you want - bedroom, living or nursery after a good browse of the options. Once you’ve done this and paid, we’ll send you the detailed schedule of each room where you can follow links to see each product in more depth, or even go and visit them in person where possible (we recommend doing this!).

  2. When you’ve decided which products you want, use our order form to submit your order. This will come through to us and Kin.field design will then place the orders using trade discounts (where available) and email the invoice directly to you as we receive them.

  3. Once invoices have been paid to each supplier, you will be updated with your delivery estimates. It’s important to note that given the current COVID climate, orders for bigger furniture items are generally taking 8-16weeks to arrive.

 

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How much are the KIT packages?

  • The KIT packages are $600/room or $500.00 each when you purchase more than one. This includes an itemised shopping list for your selected pieces and access to trade prices.

  • You’ll also need to pay for the furniture you choose!

  • Shipping fees are not included and will be provided by the suppliers upon purchase

  • Installation costs are not included in our packages. Some suppliers can include this in their shipping and delivery fees so please let us know if you require that service where possible on studio@kinfielddesign.com.au

Why wouldn't I just try and find these items on my own instead of buying the package?

So many reasons - but we'll start with the big ones…

Our relationships with some of the best industry suppliers means we get access to trade pricing. We are passing this straight onto you as a part of the KIT package, so your savings well and truly pays off the KIT fee!

Because we already have relationships with these suppliers this allows us to seamlessly order your goods and you don't have to worry about endless emails and calls to multiple suppliers. Simply select from your preferred options and relax. If you've ever ordered a couch or bed before, you know how time consuming it can be! We take that hassle out of the equation.

How many choices do I get given for each KIT purchase?

Every KIT comes with three options with three different aesthetics to choose from. You will be able to see these before you hit buy so it’s not a lucky dip!

What happens once I've paid my KIT fee?

Once we have received your payment, you'll be sent a link to our ordering system. We encourage you to carefully select each item and for the big ones, head to the suppliers to check them out in real life before you finalise your selections. Once you've decided on your selections, simply add to cart and submit. We then receive your order and begin the purchase process with our suppliers. We will receive the invoices and send them on to you via email for payment.

What KIT options are available?

We are currently selling KIT packages for bedroom, nursery, living and kid's bedrooms. We do provide interior decorating for any room though, so let us know if you'd like to know our fees for a more custom service.

How often do you update your KITs?

We will be constantly keeping an eye on the market and updating as things come in and out of stock and style. We plan to review our options quarterly depending on suppliers. Please be mindful that we don't control stock levels, so sometimes options can vary out of our control.

Is shipping included in the price?

No, shipping isn't included in the price you see on the ordering system, so please keep this in mind. Once we have placed your order, you will get an updated invoice sent to you for payment including shipping.

What if I want options that aren't available on your KITs?

If you want to swap something out and get us to source another option, this can be done at our decorating rate of $140/hr.

What if I change my mind after I've already submitted an order for my KIT?

No problems! We have a 24hr grace period for refunds.

If you have already submitted your product orders and need to make any changes, this will incur a $25 admin fee per item.

For any change of mind adjustments shoot us an email on studio@kinfielddesign.com.au as soon as possible. Please be aware that some suppliers may have their own policy on change on mind, this can sometimes also be a fee, so please choose carefully!
